What is Production?

Production is the period during which the film is actually shot, usually a continuous period of anything between two and 20 weeks, depending on the scale of the film and the size of the budget. It is also the stage when there is the biggest crew in all departments, including camera, art direction, wardrobe, construction, transport and production.
